BRAND AWARENESS CAMPAIGN Summer Water, the beloved award-winning darling of Winc’s wine portfolio, was ready to go solo, and I supplied creative direction for a trio of fresh, versatile brand spots for the occasion.

On a budget tighter than our lead actor’s Speedo, we created three cheeky spots to cement ourselves as the rosé of summer — plus a mini-library of modular, evergreen motion content for the brand to use across organic and paid social all year round. 🥂

NO PROBLEM
The first spot, featuring the brilliant and charming Circus Szaleswski, brought to life the timeless coastal adage — No shoes, no shirt, etc. — served with a couldn’t-be-fucked twist of Summer Water.

ASPIRATIONS
The second spot asked the question — Just how far would you go for a cold sip of rosé on a summer day? The answer is, obviously, not very far, because it’s summer, and we want to do Nothing.

Our alt tagline was: When your only aspiration is to double down on laying down.

HALLUCINATIONS
The final spot paid homage to the timeless trope of the summer montage and poked a bit of fun at the soulless, innaccessible glamour of traditional wine advertising. Our version of summer isn’t svelte and aspirational — it’s made up of a million tiny unspectacular moments that add up to a collective effervescence. 

In short: Summer Water won’t transport you to a yacht in Positano, but it can transport you to a summer state of mind, which is a pretty close second.
